ACR Sends 20 Players to Moneymaker’s Aruba Poker Event
The Americas Cardroom (ACR) will be sending a minimum of 20 fortunate individuals to a poker competition in Aruba hosted by Chris Moneymaker this coming October! The most exciting aspect? The primary event boasts an impressive $200,000 assurance, and participants have the opportunity to secure their spot through online qualifying tournaments.
ACR declared their backing of these contenders for the live tournament series, organized by none other than poker icon and ACR representative, Chris Moneymaker. On the topic of Moneymaker, his recent performance has been exceptional! He just secured an impressive $38,200 for his sixth-place result in ACR’s substantial $12.5 million Venom competition. Additionally, he followed that accomplishment by emerging victorious in Event #1 at the Triton Super High Roller Series in Montenegro, claiming a remarkable $903,000!
“Representing ACR at these significant events is a privilege,” Moneymaker stated. “Their backing of my tournament series is incredibly meaningful, and I eagerly anticipate witnessing everyone compete in Aruba this autumn.”
Prepared to join the excitement? Players can secure their position through the Beast qualifying tournament on Sunday, June 9th at 6:05 PM Eastern Time. The buy-in is $95, or participants can ascend to the top through ACR’s Beast weekly leaderboard. This qualifying tournament guarantees 20 packages valued at $2,500 each, culminating in a substantial $50,000 prize pool! Each package encompasses the $1,500 Main Event buy-in and provides an additional $1,000 for travel costs. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by!
Americas Cardroom Poker is running a $109 entry satellite event each Sunday evening at 6:05 PM Eastern Time, with the victor earning a $1,500 Main Event seat to an upcoming tour location.
Regarding the tour, ACR Poker revealed in April that the next destination for its “High Roller Adventure” series will be Montenegro. The “High Roller Adventure” has already visited locales like London and Monte Carlo, providing travel packages that include poker tournaments.
The Montenegro portion operates from May 12th to 26th, and two package qualifiers will be decided through the Main Satellite on April 28th. Each package features a $110,000 Super High Roller tournament buy-in with costs covered, in addition to business class flights and opulent hotel lodging.
Separately in the poker world, GGPoker declared it will be conducting the “World Festival Tournament” from May 5th to June 11th, showcasing a total prize pool of $250 million.
