Caesars New Orleans to Unveil Premier Sportsbook and World Series of Poker Room

This autumn, enthusiasts of athletic competition and card game masters will have a major event to anticipate in the Crescent City. That’s when Caesars Entertainment will debut its completely new sports wagering area and World Series of Poker Room at the recently renamed Caesars New Orleans (previously Harrah’s New Orleans).

This expansive entertainment venue is one element of a colossal $325 million renovation endeavor. The sportsbook alone will encompass over 5,700 square feet, featuring numerous betting counters and automated stations to manage the activity. Adjacent, poker aficionados will discover a 5,000 square foot sanctuary with 20 tables accommodating players of all skill levels.

Caesars is making every effort to establish this as a top-tier destination. Imagine an opulent ambiance befitting the Caesars name, complete with a massive 147-foot video display that will immerse you in the heart of the game. Naturally, there’s a cutting-edge sound system to match, ensuring you won’t overlook a single play.

For those who favor a more exclusive atmosphere, private viewing rooms are available for gatherings of up to 10 individuals. And for those who appreciate a beverage while observing the action, there’s an expansive bar that can accommodate 28 patrons.

This isn’t the only project Caesars has underway. They’re also diligently updating their Lake Charles establishment, soon to be rebranded as Horseshoe Lake Charles, and they’re constructing a brand new sportsbook at Horseshoe Bossier City.

It’s evident that Caesars is fully committed to Louisiana, and with this new sports wagering area and poker room, they aspire to create the ultimate gaming and entertainment destination in the Southern United States.

This premier sports betting destination will revolutionize the Louisiana landscape. It promises an unparalleled experience for both sports enthusiasts and visitors. The deep connection between Louisiana, sports, entertainment, and hospitality is undeniable, and this initiative underscores our dedication to the state.”

The dedicated poker area will offer a range of cash game options, with tournaments scheduled every Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday.

Samir Mowad, the head of Harrah’s New Orleans, remarked, “The World Series of Poker holds iconic status, and we’re delighted to unveil a poker room worthy of its legacy. Our goal is to cultivate an exceptional environment where players can compete and have a great time. We aspire to foster a strong sense of community and create lasting memories for the victors.”
